Our history
1995
The history of HIDECU dates back to 1995 when Enric, our founder and son of Quimet, who also had a truck business, was hired to open the Girona branch of Hidrojet S.A., a leading company in the unblocking, tank emptying and cleaning sector based in Barcelona.
2011
After gaining more than 15 years of experience in the sector, Enric decided to go his own way and, in 2011, he founded HIDECU. Since then, our tanker trucks have been adding colour to the streets and roads of Girona, and we have never stopped working to provide the best possible service to our clients.
2024
Today, HIDECU is a family-owned business with a team of about ten employees across three generations: Enric, our manager and founder; his son Arnau, who is shaping up to be the future of the company; and Quimet. Although retired and never having worked at HIDECU, Quimet is a key figure, always contributing his experience and proudly enjoying the new movement of trucks and workers in the garage of his former company.
