Tv camera inspection and pipe location

Inspecting a pipe with a TV camera can be very useful for assessing its condition and identifying potential defects or critical points. At HIDECU, we have various cameras for different pipe sizes and types, all equipped with locators (also known as detectors) to locate hidden inspection chambers, tanks, or traps, as well as pipe routes.

If we cannot reach the desired point with the camera, our detectors can also work with a transmitter nozzle placed at the tip of the hose, propelled by high-pressure water.

FAQs

How is a TV camera inspection and pipe location service performed?

We arrive at the site with one of our tanker trucks equipped with a TV camera and detector. If necessary, we begin by cleaning the pipes with high-pressure water. Then, our expert technicians perform the inspection, explaining each detail. Finally, if the client wishes, we can provide a detailed report with photos and videos via email for an additional fee.

When is a TV camera inspection and pipe location useful?

These services have countless applications. For instance, they are very helpful in identifying the causes of recurring blockages, such as improperly sloped pipes or poorly executed connections. They can also help investigate the source of dampness by detecting broken or cracked drains. The camera and detector can locate hidden traps, inspection chambers, and tanks, as well as map out pipe routes to verify proper connection to the main street line. It is also highly recommended to inspect a system when assessing the general condition of a drainage network before purchasing or renovating a property.
